About Ski and Sail Norway
Ski and Sail Norway AS was established in 2021 by Aslak Utheim Flem after growing up exploring the old “Norwegian Realm” (including the British Isles and Faroe Islands) onboard the sailing yacht “Framstig”. Drawing from these experiences, combined with a decade of extensive globe trekking and mountain sports, he decided to dedicate himself to develop a travel concept combining ski touring and sailing where “Framstig” was used as a live-aboard vessel. The vision for the company was to create an arena where people with a shared passion for these activities can gather, and through immersing in the alpine and the maritime environment can discover new sides of both themselves and nature as a whole. The ambition remains to facilitate personal growth and improved health for the individual while maintaining respect for nature and approaching it in a sustainable manner.
